I'm a 2nd generation Vancouverite who graduated from Magee Secondary, (father was a Byng/UBC product). My wife is Paula and daughter, Monroe. My parents, happily married over 50 years, still call this beautiful City home. I was blessed with a twin sister, Adrienne, a Physiotherapist with a lovely family residing in Burnaby. Despite our West Coast roots, we also possess Irish passports.

I hold a Canadian Commercial Pilot License, with a Multi-engine and Group 1 Instrument rating for land and sea. I also possess the same FAA licenses. (USA)
Culture and adventure.
I've had the good fortune of visiting Countries across Europe, Asia and South America.
Of personal interest.
I've taken classes at Kwantlen, Langara, and Douglas Colleges, as well as online classes from the University of Phoenix and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
I've been self employed since 2002. Prior, I worked in the hospitality industry, serving smiles and small talk at Seasons in the Park restaurant at Queen Elizabeth. I was the Facility Manager at the Vancouver Grizzlies Practice Center in Richmond. My final job was a charter pilot with Altair Aviation in Pitt Meadows where I would answer phones, fuel planes, feed the owners' wife's dog, and sometimes, fly planes.
Better described by the now somewhat sullied term "Property Flipper". I source, design, build and stage my projects and often play a significant role in the purchase and sale.
Created Footprint Holding & Design Ltd. in 2008 to handle contracts, labour and other real estate activities.
Proud of the short term rentals I've created and the Superhost status I've garnered, and maintain, hosting hundreds of guests since 2014.
Discovered an OCP-friendly residential development lot, and 2 years later added the home across the dead-end street (which the City of Penticton will sell to us to assemble).
Research, create content, design & build websites, then coordinate on relevant social media platforms, and drive traffic with targeted sponsored boosts.
Incorporated a non-profit company, the Student Footprint Society, that coordinated volunteer work for international students.
Created Footprint Living in 2010 as an intermediary between off-campus students and hosts; essentially a booking site with interactive mapping. Never had a chance with the explosion of Airbnb.
After not flying for many years, I've enjoyed getting back in the air having recently joined the Pacific Flying Club at CZBB.
As a hobby, I like to restore vintage campers from the 1970's. ...and sometimes vehicles.
I don't always go bananas, but when I do, I've been known to win a costume contest at the CFOX Commodore Ballroom, and wear cardboard boxes to The Vancouver Club.
One of my proudest moments was obliterating the competition at the Annual McSpadden County Fair Zuchinini Race.
